Introduction
Open PowerApps
- Navigate to PowerApps maker Portal https://make.powerapps.com/
Landing Page will look like this –
Landing Page contains main Three sections
Left Sidebar – On Left sidebar we can see no. of actions are given, we can explore these options one by one
- Home – Landing page
- Create – Once you clicked on create action, you will have another page, where you can create New App (Canvas app or Model Driven App), by using various data sources like SharePoint, Dataverse, Excel, SQL, You can also upload your screen image design PowerApp will create same design app
- Learn – PowerApps also have the documentation, you can also learn from its official documentation
- Tables – You can see list of tables available in your environment, PowerApps have its own Powerful data source called Dataverse, Dataverse works as a central datasource where we can use this in various tools in Power Platform like CanvasApp, Model Driven App, PowerBI.
- Solutions – Solutions in PowerApps is like a package or container where we can add all canvas app, model driven app, dashboards, tables, security Permissions, web resource and many more.
Solution is very helpful for moving our all work from one environment to another environment.
We will also see how to use solutions and is it very helpful for our development.
Body – On your PowerApp landing page, you can see all the Apps you created and also see the options to create an App with Datasources
Top Right Corner – On Top Right corner you can see your profile Information and beside that you can see the default environment, once you clicked on it, You can see list of environments available in your portal.
